Gina Rubel, was quoted in a JD Supra article recapping a Legal Marketing Association webinar, “Coronavirus Crisis Communications.” On March 26, Gina presented with other seasoned crisis communications professionals on ways legal marketing and communication professionals can manage the COVID-19 pandemic including successful guidelines for responding to employees, clients, and the media.
In addition, the panelists discussed key elements of an effective crisis plan and responded to questions from webinar attendees. Gina provided suggestions such as:
- communicating empathy,
- tracking what does and does not work,
- developing responses proactively,
- key personnel that comprise an internal crisis communications team, and
- closely following authoritative legal news outlets.
