President and CEO of Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., Gina F. Rubel, Esq., has been reappointed by Chancellor William P. Fedullo as chair of the Bar-News Media Committee and co-chair of the Law Practice Management Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association for 2014 . Rubel has been a member of the association since 1994 and recently completed a three-year term on the Board of Governors.
Along with co-chair Jeffrey Campolongo, Esq. of the Law Office of Jeffrey Campolongo, for the second consecutive year, Rubel will work to ensure that the Law Practice Committee serves the business and management needs of law firms and their leaders. Designed to meet the needs of everyone from solos to small and mid-sized firms to large law firms, the committee’s goal is to develop and deliver programming to help managers run their firms more efficiently and effectively.
Rubel also is responsible for leading the Bar-News Committee, a position which she has held since 2008. She serves as a liaison between the Bar and the news media. She maintains relationships with media members through ongoing discussions and the coordination of guest speakers, panel presentations and programs on related ethics issues.
