Doylestown, Pa. (October 7, 2020) – Furia Rubel Communications, Inc., is pleased to announce that founder and CEO, Gina Rubel, has been inducted as a Fellow into the College of Law Practice Management (COLPM). Rubel is one of less than 300 lawyers, judges, law professors, law firm and corporate executives, consultants, general counsel, and government officers from five countries to become a Fellow of COLPM.
The College is a professional, educational and honorary association dedicated to the improvement of the law practice management and to the enhancement of the professional quality of and public respect for the law. Membership in the College is by invitation to honor those individuals who have proven to their peers, their employers, the bar, the bench and the public through performance related to law practice management.
Corporate and law firm leaders call on Rubel for high-stakes public relations, reputation management, crisis planning, and incident response support including high-profile litigation media relations. She founded Furia Rubel in 2002 – the first Pennsylvania agency with a niche in legal marketing. Since then, the agency has grown to 10 employees serving law firms, legal tech companies and other professional service industries globally.
When asked what inspired her, Rubel said, “Before I started Furia Rubel, I was a judicial law clerk and practicing litigator. I handled quite a few high-profile matters. I realized the opportunity to merge my two loves: corporate communications and the practice of law – which is what brought me to where I am today.” She said, “I get to do what I love and love what I do. Being invited to join the College of Law Practice Management is icing on the cake. I am excited to work with the people who inspire innovation, facilitate knowledge exchange, promote diversity, and strive to make the legal industry the best that it can be.”
Since starting the agency, Rubel has written two books on public relations for lawyers, launched a successful podcast, On Record PR, worked with clients in 28 states and five countries, and is a commentator for several media outlets including ALM/Law.com’s Mid-Market Report for which she writes monthly.
